Created in 2014, Visa for Music is the first music market and festival dedicated to Africa and the Middle East. It takes place annually over four days in November in Rabat, Morocco, at the initiative of ANYA Culture, a Moroccan cultural engineering organization. This festival, dedicated to promoting global musical diversity with a particular focus on Africa and the Middle East, serves as a crucial platform for artists, music professionals, and industry stakeholders. It provides a space for networking, exchanging ideas, and fostering fruitful collaborations. Each year, approximately thirty bands from around the world are selected by a jury composed of international cultural and music industry professionals to perform in front of an audience of professionals and festival-goers eager to discover the lineup.
