After initially training as an actor, Cédric developed a passion for directing and honed his skills through various assistant director roles working with Camilla Saraceni, Claude Martinez, Claudia Stavisky and Fargass Assandé.
Committed to bringing live theatre to non-urban areas, he moved to the Lot, his home region, and founded the Cie Acétés there in 2007. This marked the start of a regional project centred on contemporary French-language drama, leading him to collaborate with numerous French-speaking actors across the globe, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa.
In 2020, he founded La Fabrique Francophone in Cahors, which he has been coordinating ever since.
His encounter with cultural rights has decisively shaped his professional approach: he has since become involved in several think tanks and initiatives aimed at popularising and disseminating this ethical framework by working on processes of personal empowerment.
