International Music & Cinema Festival Marseille 2026

Through its short and feature film competitions, the MCM celebrates the audacity of young cinematographic creation and the richness of music for film. Each year, 10 feature films and nearly 70 short films are nominated for a series of awards, including the prestigious Grand Prix for Best Original Music.

The 27th edition of the Marseille International Music & Cinema Festival, organized by the Alcimé association, will take place from March 23 to 28, 2026, in Marseille. Focused on emerging film and music for film, the artistic policy of the Marseille International Music & Cinema Festival (MCM) is unique in Europe today. Created in 1999, the event has become a must-attend event for the national and international professional community and is a benchmark in music composition for film. With 300 films presented each year, the MCM brings together more than 1,000 professionals and 25,000 spectators for unique screenings, inspiring encounters, and exceptional musical events open to all audiences.
