The Fête de la Musique is an annual event organized by the Alliance Française de Luanda in collaboration with the French Embassy in Angola, aimed at celebrating musical culture through the participation of both local and international artists.

Program

This year, the Fête de la Musique will take place at the Palais de Fer, an iconic cultural venue in the Angolan capital. On Saturday, June 21, the public will have the opportunity to discover new Angolan talent, selected following a call for applications aimed at identifying emerging artists from the local music scene.

On this occasion, the Alliance Française and the French Embassy in Angola are pleased to invite Vitamlyn, a Franco-Angolan DJ based in Bordeaux. Through her sets, she showcases the richness of African music, creating a bridge between tradition and modernity.

In parallel, the Alliance Française also aims to highlight dance. On Thursday, June 26, a choreographic performance by Aneth Silva will be presented—an original creation blending contemporary expression with Angolan influences. The choreographer will also lead a youth dance workshop at Elinga Theatre.
