The Annecy International Animation Film Festival will take place from June 21 to 27, 2026, celebrating the creativity and diversity of animation cinema by bringing together the industry's leading figures, with screenings and professional meetings. The Annecy International Animation Film Market (MIFA) will be held from June 23 to 26, 2026. It is a global event for animation professionals. It allows producers, buyers, investors, schools, and studios to meet, present their projects, and develop partnerships. MIFA includes an Exhibitors' Chapiteau (booths, pavilions, spaces dedicated to new technologies, training, recruitment, and XR & Games), market screenings, MIFA Pitches to highlight the best projects, a MIFA Campus dedicated to students, young professionals, and recruitment (with panels, workshops, networking sessions), as well as an exclusive video library and a directory of professionals to facilitate exchanges and project visibility. MIFA also offers online accreditation (Mifa Online) for remote access to trends, the video library, and the participant directory. In 2026, the Festival and MIFA will mark the opening of the International Animation Cinema City.
