Between 2011 and 2014, also organized artistic events, such as the 24-Hour Comics Challenge, which was held twice and resulted in two collective books featuring professional and emerging artists.

The 9th Art  is also the founder and organizer of the Cairo International Comics Festival (CairoComix), which is considered the most important event of its kind in Egypt and the region for comic readers, publishers, and artists. It is unique in the region for having a dedicated program, invited guests, and a marketplace focused exclusively on comics.

It strongly believes in the importance of print publications, especially in the world of comics. It strives to publish high-quality printed materials at prices affordable to readers, thus reinforcing the significance of the market and reader demand. The comic book signing events it has organized since 2011 stand as a prime example of this approach.

Since its inception, has received cultural grants through various programs. Among the supporters are: the European Union in Egypt, the French Institute in Egypt, the Cultural Affairs Office of the U.S. Embassy in Egypt, Goethe-Institut, the British Council, the Mu’taz and Rada Sawwaf Arab Comics Initiative, and the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC).

Since its founding in 2011, the Fan El-Tasea (The Ninth Art) dedicated specifically to the art and publishing of comics. Has worked to promote and support this medium. With the launch of Tok Tok, a comic magazine for adults, became the official body behind it and expanded its efforts to connect Egyptian comic artists with their counterparts in the Arab world and internationally.
