Launched in Feb 2022, PAGG brings together the top game development studios from around Africa. We are focussed on creating the thousands of jobs that will support the African video game industry. With over 1 Billion Youth and more Internet connected smartphones than all of Europe combined, the demand for African made and themed games will grow immensely over the next decade. Already bigger than the film and music industries combined, Gaming can become a multi-billion dollar creative sector generator of economic development for the continent. This will require animators, illustrators, voice actors, musicians, writers and programmers. In addition to our own game projects and teams, We operate training events, hackathons and startup accelerators focus on capacity development for this growing sector.
