For 30 years, Les Inachevés have been experimenting with new artistic practices in diverse spaces, placing exchange—from local to global and back—at the heart of the creative act.
Since the 2012/2013 season, a new artistic perspective has emerged with the creation of the Academy of Shared Knowledge and Artistic Practices (intergenerational), whose first founding act was the project Trilogy for a Dialogue of Continents: Europe (France) / Africa (Burkina Faso) / Asia (Vietnam) – Duras, Our Contemporary through the author’s writings.
The Academy is no longer only about producing shows; it seeks to question society in an unprecedented way, as it embodies a social desire within the community, not just a desire for entertainment. It is an attempt to reconnect, to rediscover hospitality, and the taste for others. It reinvents creative spaces in the city, making theatre a generative matrix, exploring new paths, fictions, and narratives. The Academy is about poetically inhabiting the world.
THE ACADEMY OF SHARED KNOWLEDGE AND ARTISTIC PRACTICES (INTERGENERATIONAL)
The Academy is a living hub, a place where poetic and political awareness takes shape, a point where contemporary influences converge. It is both a seismograph of society and a space of freedom. Each artistic project can create a unique, living social event, whose true significance goes far beyond appearances.
The Academy brings communities into the creative process, invents new artistic forms, and questions the relationship between amateur and professional.
Its goal is to make the Academy a space for artistic sharing, training, and civic education—a place where collective voices can be heard.
