Creative Corners is a visionary initiative by Image Rwanda designed to decentralize access to cultural and creative industry opportunities by establishing inclusive creative hubs across Rwanda’s provinces. These physical spaces serve as safe, resourceful environments where youth, teen mothers, and marginalized communities especially those outside Kigali can express themselves, learn new skills, and build creative livelihoods.

Each Creative Corner houses an art gallery, workshop rooms, co-working spaces, studios, a mini library, a stage for performances, and digital production facilities. These spaces are designed to nurture local talent, encourage community expression, and support economic empowerment through arts and culture.

The initiative also acts as a bridge between tradition and innovation by preserving cultural heritage while supporting modern creative practices. Programs hosted at Creative Corners include storytelling, visual arts training, community challenge documentation for advocacy, cultural preservation, and socio-economic empowerment through creative entrepreneurship.

Over the next five years, Creative Corners aims to establish four fully operational hubs in each of Rwanda’s provinces and impact over 4,000 beneficiaries. By partnering with local leaders, donors, and international organizations, Creative Corners is redefining how art can transform individuals and uplift communities.
