The Regional Film & Media Attaché for East Africa is based in Nairobi to liaise with institutions and professionals in the fields of film, television, radio, music, animation and video games.

His role consists of contributing to the professionalization of the film & Media industries in East Africa at large and developing initiatives to promote french and francophone content in the region.

These activities are realized through workshops, training sessions, partnerships, and other programmes that facilitate the access of East African professionals to global markets.

The Film and Media Attaché is responsible for the following countries : Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia and Djibouti.
