Filmmaker, Climate Justice Enthusiast, and XR Curator. Michelle is a lover of stories who has been playing with cameras and computers from a young age.

Seeking a deeper understanding of stories, she attended Multichoice Talent Factory(MTF), a filmmaking program where she learned basic filmmaking principles and storytelling for the African context. There she co-wrote and edited the film Promises, which bagged the Best Student Feature at the 2020 AMVCAs. 
 
At MTF, she also discovered a new-found love for stories and initiatives that drove social change. She is part of the brains behind Exposition Media, a digital show curating courageous conversations among the youth in Kenya.
 
Michelle is an alumnus of the La Femis Université D’été, Paris, a diverse documentary filmmaking program where she developed skills in docu-storytelling. Her time there coupled with training in Virtual Reality led her to discover Immersive Journalism and VR as an empathy machine.
