I am Jean-Bertrand Yapi, an Ivorian designer and founder of the Yapcol shoe brand.

A graduate in museology and heritage from the National Higher Institute of Arts and Cultural Action (INSAAC), I launched my design career by creating my brand in 2009, which was first presented to the public in 2012 at an exhibition at the Palace of Culture in Abidjan.
My career has been marked by several exhibitions in Abidjan and significant recognition: I was the third-place winner of the Artisan Entrepreneur Award from the Ethnik.org Association in 2014 in Ouagadougou. This distinction opened the doors to the Première Vision trade show in Paris in 2016.
My current work focuses on developing my Yapcol brand, whose mission is to create products that combine cultural roots, contemporary aesthetics, and international quality.
