Converge+ is a non-profit cultural association whose statutory objectives are to organize cultural events in the field of music and especially dance, to stimulate spaces for discussion and debate, to organize artistic training, literary encounters, recitals and choreographic dissemination of interest to the country and the world.
Training for the professionalization of traditional dancers in a contemporary context aims to strengthen artistic skills, encourage choreographic creation based on local traditions and promote the professional integration of beneficiaries into national and international cultural markets, through practical and theoretical training, workshops, tutoring and evaluation, as well as the production of choreographic performances.
The initiative is part of the FEF-Création 2024-2025 project, managed by the CCFM with the support of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. It provides strategic, operational and financial support for the theoretical and practical training project for the professionalization of traditional Mozambican dancers in a contemporary context, run by the Converge+ association.
The training project for the professionalization of traditional dancers in a contemporary context is financed by the French Embassy -FEF Création Afrique-Mozambique 2025.

from 9am to 4pm, in the UTOPIA Mafalala art space.
