Each year, the Saint-Louis International Documentary Film Festival celebrates the vitality of contemporary documentary creation in Africa and in Creole-speaking territories. ST LOUIS’DOCS supports freedom of expression, thought, and creation in order to foster and encourage intercultural and social dialogue. It is a space for sharing and discovering documentary works by African filmmakers, as well as by filmmakers from around the world whose films were shot in Africa. The ST LOUIS’DOCS 2026 Festival program will bring together, through screenings and discussions, meet-and-greet cafés, talks, writing residencies, creative workshops, and an international production forum, a demanding selection of around fifty documentary films. Eligibility criteria

Films submitted must have been produced in Africa and/or in Creole-speaking territories (Louisiana, Haiti, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Dominica, French Guiana, Mauritius, Réunion, Seychelles, etc.).

Only documentary films produced after January 1, 2024 are eligible.

Workshop films and films produced within film schools are eligible.

Films that are not in French must include French subtitles.
