Through its short and feature film competitions, the MCM celebrates the audacity of young cinematographic creation and the richness of soundtrack music. Each year, 10 feature films and nearly 70 shorts are in the running for a series of awards, including the prestigious Grands Prix for Best Original Score. Entries for the next edition are now open. Film teams not only from Europe, but from all over the world, are invited to submit their works. Fiction, documentaries, experimental films... All genres are welcome, provided they include original music.

The 27th edition of the International Music & Cinema Festival Marseille, organized by the Alcimé association, will take place from March 23 to 28, 2026, in Marseille. Registration is free of charge. Visit the FestiCiné platform to register your film before November 16, 2025. I. FEATURE FILMS Feature films in competition must : - be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd feature-length production - Have an original score - Have been completed after September 2024 - Have been registered and sent for screening no later than November 16, 2025. - Be at least 60 minutes long. II. ACCEPTED DISTRIBUTION MEDIA 35mm, .MOV, DCP III. CATEGORIES The competition accepts the following categories: - Fiction - Documentary - Animation - Experimental IV. REGISTRATION FORM To enter the competition, each candidate must complete the online entry form available at www.music-cinema.com under the “Enter a film” tab.
