Details

Support for artistic exchange, research, collaboration, and creative production connecting artists and cultural professionals across Africa and Europe. Whether you are exploring new artistic approaches, collaborating with international partners, developing original work, or taking part in residencies, this programme helps facilitate creative mobility and reduce barriers to international exchange. Who can apply: Individual artists, cultural practitioners, curators, and researchers working in any creative field — including theatre, visual arts, literature, film, music, dance, photography, and digital arts. Applications are open to both emerging and established professionals. What the programme supports: Activities that contribute to artistic development, such as research informing creative projects, collaborative initiatives with international partners, creation of new work, participation in residencies, involvement in cultural events, and professional development linked to artistic practice. Proposed mobility should clearly demonstrate its value for your creative growth and include meaningful partnerships with organisations or collaborators in the destination country. Where mobility can take place: The scheme mainly supports exchanges between Africa and Europe, as well as travel within Africa. Applicants must be based either in Sub-Saharan Africa or in a country of the European Union. Financial support available: Funding may cover travel expenses, accommodation, daily subsistence, and project-related costs. Additional assistance may be available for applicants with caregiving responsibilities, accessibility requirements, or those opting for environmentally responsible travel options.
