Details

The Indian Ocean Mobility Fund is a program of the Ministry of Culture (General Secretariat, Directorate of Cultural Affairs of Mayotte and La Réunion). This program supports the mobility of artists and cultural professionals within the Indian Ocean region. It addresses a genuine need in the territories and responds to significant challenges related to artistic mobility. Beneficiaries will receive assistance to finance their mobility in the form of a transportation allowance if the application is submitted by an individual, or in the form of a project grant if the application is submitted by a structure. Eligibility criteria

Target beneficiaries

Applicants eligible for this scheme may include individuals, associations, private enterprises, research organizations or local public enterprises. In addition, applicants must be from one of the French departments in the Indian Ocean, a member country of the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC), or another eligible country, and must have been residing and working there for at least five years; alternatively, the registered office of the applying organization must be based in one of the French departments in the Indian Ocean, an IOC member country, or another eligible country, as listed below: • French departments in the Indian Ocean: Mayotte; La Réunion. • Indian Ocean Commission (IOC): Union of the Comoros; Madagascar; Mauritius; Seychelles. • Other eligible countries: Mozambique; Tanzania; South Africa; Kenya; India.

Mobility projects must have a direct connection with Mayotte or La Réunion.

Travel must take place within the Indian Ocean region, and to or from Mozambique, Tanzania, South Africa, Kenya, or India

Applicants must present a creation, research, or professional project on a subject or theme of their choice, within one of the following disciplines
