As part of the FEF Culture Créatrice d'Avenir project in the Central African Republic (CAR), supported by the French Embassy and the French Alliance of Bangui, we are inviting applications for an artist residency in theater. The aim of this residency is to strengthen the skills of local artists by offering a moment of exchange and creation with an experienced foreign artist based outside the country.

Details

This initiative is part of a drive to promote culture as a vector for development in CAR. It will enable 10 local artists (men and women) to benefit from professional support and broaden their artistic skills in the theatrical field through the development of an artistic project. DOSSIER DE CANDIDATURE Le dossier de candidature devra comprendre : - Une lettre de motivation détaillant votre parcours artistique, votre expérience en formation et votre intérêt pour cette résidence. - Un curriculum vitae détaillé. - Des références professionnelles (coordonnées de personnes pouvant témoigner de votre expérience). - Des exemples de vos réalisations artistiques (captations de spectacles, textes, etc.). - Une proposition de programme pour les 14 jours de résidence, adaptée au contexte centrafricain et aux objectifs de la résidence. - Un devis détaillé précisant vos honoraires, et les éventuels besoins techniques pour la résidence.

Goals

Create mutual enrichment with 10 local artists (women and men) in theatrical techniques (acting, directing, playwriting, etc.).
Encourage intercultural exchanges and the sharing of experiences between the resident artist and local participants.
Stimulate local theatrical creation and encourage the emergence of new talent.
Contribute to the development of theater in the Central African Republic.
FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
Travel and accommodation expenses : Round-trip travel and accommodation in Bangui will be paid for by the project.
