Details

La Fabrique Art Studio (Tunisia), Africolor (France), Tulla (Albania) are launching a landmark career development programme for emerging women and non-binary artists in electronic music. About BriDJing: BriDJing brings together women and gender minority mid-career artists in electronic music to undergo a tailor-made career development programme designed by a select group of multidisciplinary artists and professionals. About BriDJing Career Take-Off Programme (BCTO): The Bridging Career Take-Off Programme BCTO® is designed for DJs-producers, sound artists, sound producers, electronic musicians, musicians with digital music practices . This includes two (2) modules : Module (1) a one (1) week offline residency in Tirana (Albania) and Module (2) a one (1) week online masterclass and networking opportunities with international experts in the field of music and arts. Our aim is to pave the way for equal opportunity practices and the development of artists' talents, promoting the contributions of womxn and their full participation in the music industry in Europe and its southern and eastern neighbors. Join us in shaping the future of electronic music and building a more inclusive community.

Goals

  • Accelerate their professionalization,

    reduce early career barriers and promote positive role models who encourage diversity and inclusion. We prioritize social inclusion and safe dynamics in everything we do.

Eligibility criteria

If you are a resident and/or citizen of one of the project's partner countries: Tunisia, France, Albania and the Balkans.

Years of experience: 3 to 5 years in music and digital music practice.

Experience in group practice.

Social commitment.

Interest in working in a group and collaborating with cross-border artists.

Fluency in English is required.

How to apply?

The selection process is based on the form completed by the artist and on your ability to meet the selection criteria for BCTO® eligibility. Please send us the completed form, together with any additional documents requested. Selected artists will be notified no later than May 9, 2025. They will be asked to confirm their availability and send their passport for logistical purposes. Please note that the program covers airfare, accommodation and catering.
