Call for applications — 𝗔𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗝𝗔𝗥𝗖 Cinema 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

AFRICAJARC celebrates cinema in all its diversity, in dialogue with other artistic disciplines such as music, literature, and theatre. The festival also positions itself as a space for encounters and reflection, encouraging exchange, sharing, and connections between the diaspora and African cultures. Filmmakers from the African continent are invited to submit their films to the cinema section, dedicated to works that resonate with Africa. Literary adaptations as well as original narratives receive particular attention. Categories: Animation | Fiction | Documentary Awards: Best Feature Film | Best Short Film | Jury Special Mention Eligibility: Films produced after January 1, 2023, with at least one author, producer, or director of African origin. 🇫🇷 French subtitles are required if the film is not in French.
