Artistic residency programme : Euro-Mediterranean Creative Communities

CALL 2 is addressed to artists and creatives aged 18 and over from countries across the Euro-Mediterranean region who wish to develop a residency project in Matera (Italy), in collaboration with one of the host organisations, through a four-week continuous experience taking place between September and November 2026. The programme promotes intercultural dialogue, artistic mobility and co-creation, enhancing Matera’s tangible and intangible heritage through original, site-specific cultural productions. Each applicant may apply for only one of the ten available residency projects. Each residency includes specific requirements, dedicated funding and tailored participation procedures. “Terre Immerse – Euro-Mediterranean Creative Communities” is an artistic residency programme promoted in collaboration with the Municipality of Matera and funded by the Italian Ministry of Tourism and the Basilicata Region.
